Since switching the format of the MusicPreneur.Com podcast to 5x a week, M-F, I’ve seen really great results.
Download numbers are up. Engagement with the audience is up. My own engagement with the show is up.
All in all, a great decision.
At first, I was thinking it was going to be a ton of work compared to doing an episode once per week, but that hasn’t been the case.
Does it take more time? Probably. But once you’re in a groove with something, you become more efficient with things. Something that once took 2 hours you can now do in an hour.
I was interviewed for a podcast last week and the hosts were shocked when I told them I can produce a podcast episode in 2 hours. And that’s including recording the interview.
Actually I think 2 hours is liberal. Truth be told, I could get everything done in an hour if I’m feeling pressed for time.
Can you imagine a 1 hour work day?
I can. That’s why I work as hard as I do now, so I can reap future benefits later.
Yes, ladies and gentlemen, there is a better way than working a J.O.B. until you’re 65, then becoming a vegetable while growing vegetables in your back yard.
You might need to work a J.O.B. that is far less than what you’re qualified while you’re building a business.
But prosperity and abundance await those who work and wait.
There are no peaks in our line of work, only plateaus.
Enough cliches for you? I’ve got loads more for future emails.
Down to business. There are these amazing tools out there we know as social media.
One of which is Twitter. It’s lost a bit of ground to Facebook in recent years, but it’s still relevant.
Carlos Castillo, a friend of the MusicPreneur.Com podcast dynasty, has a killer course on how to master Twitter. With over 100k followers, I think he knows what he’s talking about.
I’m going to be spending a lot more time building a following on Twitter in 2018, and this is what I’m going to be using as a game plan.
