About the Guest

Alex Heiche is the founder and serves as CEO of Sound Royalties. With an innate passion for music and strong roots in the industry, Heiche established the company in 2014 after identifying the gaping need for non-credit based funding options tailored to the needs of music professionals.

Heiche has over a decade of experience in providing cash and finance raising strategies to large annuity recipients, professional athletes, songwriters and artists. He has worked with a wide range of clients from the up-and-coming to several billionaires, always with the utmost discretion and privacy.

Prior to founding Sound Royalties, Alex held several senior executive positions in high-tech software and specialty finance firms, including working with ICARUS Corporation in Maryland. While at ICARUS, he oversaw the marketing of Artificial Intelligence (AI) engineering software and services to petrochemical, chemical, utility, pulp and paper, food and nuclear power industries worldwide. Later, Heiche worked with large Real Estate Investments Trust’s (REITs), with Net Asset Values over $1 Billion with LivingNexus of Virginia.

Heiche also worked with OC Systems, which specializes in the development and marketing of enterprise-wide application monitoring systems, and software development testing/debugging tools. Later, he served as Executive Vice President of Zero-G, where he helped oversee the marketing and development of weightless flight for entertainment, research, education, and filming purposes.

A lifetime member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame and Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI), Alex is a strong and outspoken advocate for the rights of songwriters, producers and artists, and the importance of those in the creative world being fairly compensated for their work.
